DMG Mini Lumière by Rosco (Full Colour) is a versatile studio light fixture featuring True Rosco Color™ technology. Rosco's history and expertise in the field of lighting gels translates perfectly to the Mini Mix, using a proprietary mix of six coloured LEDs: Red, Lime, Green, Blue, Amber and White. This selection gives users unlimited options for mixing unique colours on set and enables the DMG mini to accurately match pre-existing Rosco gels, including E-Colour+ and Supergel swatch books.
The super-lightweight and portable form factor of the mini allows it to be hidden in sets or blended into scenery; non-obtrusively injecting crucial accents of colour into set decoration, in places that would otherwise be difficult to access with larger studio lighting.
Key Features of Rosco DMG MINI (Full Colour)
The DMG Mini is compatible with multiple accessories and has several options for mounting the light. Including: gooseneck or lollipop mounts; a hybrid adapter, compatible with 16mm and standard 28mm TV spigots; and a handle to take your DMG Mini hand-held. Make the DMG Mini portable with a battery adapter plate, which accepts V or gold mounted batteries, or opt for the AC power supply. Whether battery operated or mains powered, both power boxes can be mounted to the back of the light itself - along with the controller.
Control Modes
- <WHITE MODE> lets you control the intensity (0-100%) and colour temperature of your light, from 10,000K all the way down to 1700K.
- <GEL MODE> lets you select from a range of Rosco gel colours, all colour matched by Rosco's colour experts for precision and authenticity.
Then make fine adjustments to the colour by switching between source colour temperture (3200K or 5600K), adjust saturation levels (+/- 20%), and hue angle (+/- 10 degrees) for further fine-tuning of colour tone. With the perfect colour locked in, adjust intensity (0-100%). - <COLOUR MODE> allows you to select any colour from a hue slider and adjust base colour temperture (1700K to 10,000K), saturation (0-100%) and intensity (0-100%).
Unlock features with myMIX
Pair your Mini Mix fixture with the myMIX app on iOS and Android, for all the same modes as above, while also unlocking further control features.
- Controlling the Mini Mix with the myMIX app in <COLOUR MODE> lets you select colours from an X/Y coordinate colour picker, with optional maps that isolate the available colour space for different profiles (Rec 709 or Rec 2020) for in-camera compatibility while filming.
- <PHOTO MODE> lets you pick colours from personal photographs captured on your device. Inspired by scenes you have seen before, snap a shot and pick the colour straight from the photo, make subtle adjustments and replicate your favourite scenes.
Whether using the onboard controls, or the myMIX app, <SAVE> the colours you have created to the Mini Mix, or to your sign-in on myMIX, to recall them later. Efficiency and speed are paramount to film shoots; design your profiles ahead of time, save, and quickly switch between them when needed, giving you efficient workflow during production.
Rosco DMG MIXBOOK Digital Swatchbook
Bolster your workflow with the Rosco DMG MIXBOOK Digital Swatchbook. Controlled by the myMIX app, the DMG Mixbook features the same full-colour LED technology and Rosco gel matching capability as the Mini Mix. Previsualise your colours using the handy digital swatch book, on or off set, save your favourites, and send seemlessly to the Mini Mix during production.
